How the secret stays secret
-
Everyone sees what is taken, except one person
When you reserve a wish, the other guests see it is claimed. The person the gift is for sees the wish exactly as before, with no marker and no hint.
-
No more duplicate gifts
No two people arrive with the same book, and nobody spends an afternoon returning it. What is reserved is reserved, from the moment you tap it.
-
Change your mind freely
Release a reservation and the wish goes straight back into the pool. Someone else can take it, and the person it is for still knows nothing.
-
It works for group gifts too
On a bigger present, several people can join the same reservation. Everyone sees who is in, what is left to organise, and the surprise still holds.
How it works
-
Open their wishlist
You see everything they added, with the right size, the right colour and the link to order.
-
Reserve the one you want
One tap. The other guests instantly see it is taken.
-
Give it on the day
They open a gift they actually wanted, and never knew was coming.
Frequently asked questions
Can the person see who reserved their gift?
No. They cannot see that anything was reserved at all. Reservations are visible only to the other people on the list.
How does Khadoo avoid duplicate gifts?
A reserved wish is marked as taken for everyone except its recipient, so two people never buy the same present.
Can I cancel a reservation?
Yes, at any time. The wish becomes available again for the others, and nothing is ever shown to the person it is for.
Do my guests need the app to reserve a gift?
They open your list from a shared link. Installing Khadoo takes a minute and lets them reserve, follow the occasion and keep their own list.
Does it work for a group gift?
Yes. Several people can join one reservation, see who has already committed and organise the rest without a group chat.
