Who we are
The Khadoo app and the khadoo.app website are operated by INDIGATE LLC (“Khadoo”, “we”), a U.S. limited liability company. Contact: contact@khadoo.app.
What we collect
- Account data: e-mail address, first and last name, optional profile photo.
- Content you create: wishes (title, brand, price, link, photo), occasions, lists, and the people you invite.
- Technical data: device identifiers, logs and app version, used to keep the service running and secure.
The website sets no tracking cookies; your theme preference is stored on your device only. We collect no sensitive data. We never sell your data and show no third-party advertising.
How we use it
- Provide the service: your account, lists, occasions, reservations, syncing with the people you invite.
- Send occasion reminders and notifications, which you control in the app and in iOS settings.
- Keep Khadoo secure and prevent abuse.
- Improve Khadoo through aggregated, de-identified statistics.
- Measure the effectiveness of our own ad campaigns (see “Advertising measurement”).
Who sees what
Your lists are never public: only the people you invite can see them, and wishes marked “private” only the people you choose. Reservations are hidden from their recipient. Data is shared only with the service providers that run Khadoo: hosting, photo hosting (ImageKit), e-mail delivery, subscription management (Adapty and Apple), campaign measurement (AppsFlyer), partner-link redirection (Sovrn Commerce), bound to use it solely for that purpose, or when the law requires it.
Partner links and affiliate programmes
Product links (wishes, the Discover catalogue) may go through our redirect service. We then log the click (product type and identifier only, never tied to your account) for aggregate statistics. Some links are turned into affiliate links by our partner (Sovrn Commerce), which receives the destination URL and standard technical data to attribute a possible commission to Khadoo. The price you pay does not change, and we never rewrite a link that already carries someone else’s affiliate tag.
Advertising measurement
To know whether our own ad campaigns (for example on TikTok) actually bring new users, the app includes AppsFlyer, an attribution service. AppsFlyer receives technical data (a device identifier, never Apple’s advertising ID since the app does not use App Tracking Transparency, plus IP address and app version) and app events such as install, app opens, trial starts and subscriptions (reported by Adapty). On iOS, campaign attribution relies on Apple’s SKAdNetwork, aggregated and anonymous by design; ad platforms receive aggregated statistics, not individual profiles. This data is used solely to measure our campaigns, never to show you ads in Khadoo. See AppsFlyer’s privacy policy; you can also write to us to object to this measurement.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in the app (My space → Settings); your data is deleted within 30 days. Technical logs are kept at most 12 months.
Your rights and choices
You can access, correct, delete or export your data in the app or by writing to us; we respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. California residents have the rights provided by the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell personal data, and the campaign-measurement data we disclose to advertising platforms is aggregated or de-identified. Users in other regions (including the EEA and the UK) have the rights granted by their local law, which we honour.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with providers applying industry-standard security. Access is strictly limited.
Children
Khadoo is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
The date above reflects the latest version. We will notify you in the app of any material change.
